Plain-language terms for a simple deal: you pay once, the software is yours to use.
The license
- Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges.
- Pro is tied to the email you sign in with inside the app. Signing in delivers an Ed25519-signed license that the app verifies locally, so Pro keeps working offline; the app re-checks your account when it launches and about every six hours. One purchase covers the Macs you sign in to (up to five active at a time; the least-recently-used is signed out beyond that).
- The free tier requires no license and keeps full Joy-Con functionality permanently.
Purchases
Sales are handled by Paddle as the merchant of record. Paddle is the counterparty for the payment itself — your receipt and invoice come from Paddle, and their checkout terms apply to the transaction.
Refunds
Pro purchases can be refunded within 14 days. Paddle (the merchant of record) issues the refund to your original payment method — reply to your Paddle receipt or write to [email protected].
